Cervical Cancer is an almost 100% preventable disease caused by the HPV virus. Nearly all of us (>80%) will be exposed to HPV in our lifetime. Meanwhile Australia has announced that they are close to eliminating cervical cancer and Rwanda succeeded in immunizing 93% of their adolescents against HPV within 3 years.

Chicago unfortunately has cervical cancer rates that are 39% above the US average and has a death rate from cervical cancer that is 61% above the national average. We can eliminate cervical cancer in Chicago. Join us in this effort by signing this petition.
